Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use these providers to run the site and the shop, and they act on our instructions:
- Netlify hosts the website and stores your order details in its database.
- Resend sends your order confirmation and, if you opted in, our news.
- Microsoft provides our email inbox, where your replies and our new-order notes arrive.
- Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) and Meta (Meta Pixel), but only if you accept the relevant cookies. They may use that information for their own purposes under their own policies.
We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC or the police.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on an approved safeguard, such as a UK adequacy decision, the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: six years, because tax and accounting law requires it.
- Mailing list details: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to deal with them, and no more than two years after we last hear from you.
- Cookie choice: six months, then we ask again.
- Analytics and advertising data: held by Google and Meta under their own retention settings, which we set to the shortest practical period.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it to someone else. You can object to us using it for our legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time without giving a reason. Email office@homefarmproduce.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.
Children
Our shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Farm Friends Day Nursery is a separate business with its own website and its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
